Camp-In & Serve-It-Up
June 9-11

(for current 6th-7th graders)


Come to the youth center for two nights and then embark on two days of unique serving opportunities in the communities of Holland and Grand Rapids.  The evenings will be filled with fun activities such as Capture the Flag, Knockerball fun, and meaningful conversations around the campfire with our awesome high school students and adult leaders.  The final day will include some time at the beach.


Registration Deadline:  Sunday, March 29

Capacity:  30 students, 6 adults     
Cost:  $30 (due at time of registration)    

Family Camp
Pine Trail Camp

June 19-21
(for families)

If you love camping, this is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this

beautiful setting with your family and the company of others.

June 20-27

(for current 11th graders,12th graders and Seniors ‘19, ‘18, & ‘17)

Our team will experience not only the awe-inspiring beauty of Alaska, but the wonder that comes from helping their neighbors experience renewal and the love of Jesus Christ.  Whether you swing a hammer for repairs, swing a paddle on the river, or swing a child at VBS, you’ll help bring back hope to Sutton which was once a flourishing gold town and today its people struggle to make ends meet.  Eaglecrest Alaska Missions is the sponsoring agency and is a ministry fueled by a love for the Lord and for the people nearby.  For more info, go to  Lodging facilities are rustic yet accommodating with modern restrooms and showers.  Participants sleep on a bunk bed with a mattress.

Priority will be given to students actively engaged in CMC ministry and in this order: Sr ‘20, ‘19, ‘18, & ‘17.

Camp Geneva

Holland, MI
June 29-July 3

(for current 6th-8th graders)


This experience at beautiful CAMP GENEVA (on the “pines” side)  is designed to engage students in a way no other context can.  The GENEVA staff serve as role models and work to help each camper to establish their identity in Christ.  Worship and Bible study provide the foundation for the week while play offers the arena for students to see themselves and others as part of God’s story.  Some favorite activities will include campfires, the talent show, flying down the zip line, blobbing, and more!

Capacity:  20 students (Camp Geneva provides the leaders.)
Cost:  $250 or $125 w/banquet participation
DEPOSIT:  $50

Fun Day!
July 14

(for current 5th graders, entering 6th grade fall of 2020)

Tuesday, July 14 from 1pm - 7pm, join us in a day of fun games, yummy food, campfire and fun with friends as we get to know eachother and learn about the adventures of Middle School Ministries for the year ahead! Led by your fearless Youth Pastor, Lisa Henderson.  There is NO cost for this event, but please register here so we can plan accordingly.  Please contact Doris at 796-3342 or if you have specific questions.

NYC – Staten Island & Brooklyn

July 19-25
(for current 8th-10th graders)


Our group will partner with two agencies (Project Hospitality and Adventures in Mission) and will be staying in two different churches.  In the daytime the groups will be interacting with patrons of many different ministries. Teams will work with people who are homeless, hungry, and poor, with the primary work stationed in a soup kitchen and food pantry. Volunteer opportunities also will include helping in a family shelter, working in a drop-in center for people who are homeless, serving at a senior day center, meeting New Yorkers in one of the city’s parks to build relationships with them, and cleaning parks and trails/removing fallen trees and brush, and planting new trees and shrubs. The final day will include sightseeing in this Big Apple.

Capacity:  32 students, 8 adults      
Cost:  $500 or $250 w/banquet participation           

DEPOSIT:  $50 at time of registration

FINAL PAYMENT:  $225 or $100 by 5/10



As a participant in CMC’s summer youth opportunities, you as parent(s) and student(s) are expected to fulfill the following requirements:


· registration form online ( or hard copy

· deposit + payments

· health/liability forms as required by CMC and/or location

Banquet Participation
For all summer experiences except the Camp-In, Fun Day, and Family Camp, you and your family are expected to participate in the banquet on Monday, April 27, 6:30 PM, at Christ Memorial Church.  This allows you to pay half the cost of the camp or trip.  For students participating in the Camp-In/Serve-It-Up, they will be asked to assist with serving at the banquet but their parent(s) will not be required to host a table.


Details are:

· Parent(s) is/are asked to host a table for eight adults—number includes host parent(s); no children, please.  Dinner is complimentary.  A drawing is held prior to the banquet with the prize winners announced throughout the evening.  Freewill donations are also accepted

· All Students:  set-up, serving, clean-up.  They will receive serving instructions on Sunday, April 26, 10:00-10:30 AM, in the youth center, and are expected to serve at the banquet on Monday from 5-9 PM.

*Please note that if you choose not to participate in the banquet, you will then be responsible for the higher cost for the camp or trip.



The $50 deposit and/or camp or trip payments may be made electronically at  Click on the “Give” tab and then “Give Online.”  Find the appropriate camp/trip using the drop-down arrow.  No spot will be held without the deposit.

Once a trip is at “full” capacity, a waiting list will be created.  Priority will be given to older students or those actively engaged in the ministries of CMC. 



Limited scholarship money is available for students with financial needs.
