Check out Pastor David's video about the

"My One Word" all-church study and order your book today!

Beginning in January, we are embarking on an all-church study using the book "My One Word" by Mike Ashcraft and Rachel Olsen. The book challenges us to drop our lists of resolutions for the new year and focus instead on just one word – whatever word God has given us. Then throughout the year we can live according to our word and encourage others to as well!

If you are not currently part of a small group but are curious what that experience is like, you can sign up to be part of a group for just four weeks while we do this study.

CLICK HERE to order the book (and /or to indicate your interest in being part of a group). Books will be ordered on Monday, November 23, so that participants can have their book before the end of December.  Sign up today!

Christ Memorial Church has a rich history of blessing ministries both locally and throughout the world in the name of Jesus with the Thanksgiving Day Offering (TGO).  This year the deacons and TGO Team are grateful to have three ministries for this offering.  Throughout November these ministries will be highlighted in the worship services, and videos will be presented. For more information on these wonderful ministries, click here or take an information sheet from the Deacon Kiosk in the lobby. Videos of the CMC deacons describing each recipient may be found in the "mission minute" on our watch page.

You may also CLICK HERE to watch the videos describing the three ministries we are supporting in the Thanksgiving Offering!

Check out the details below about virtual and in-person worship and how to share this experience!  We can potentially reach the whole world with the message of Jesus Christ!

Christmas Eve is a keystone and tradition for our church. However, in Christ Memorial’s 63 years, the church has never had to manage something like COVID-19.  With social-distancing, mask-wearing, 25% allowed capacity in the sanctuary, and many other health and safety protocols, we have realized that we will need to adjust our way of sharing the Christmas Eve experience.

We believe that God is challenging us to do something different, something that could ultimately lead even more people to seeing and hearing the Good News this Christmas season. Therefore, the Christ Memorial Worship Team is creating and rehearsing for a unique, Christ-centered experience for this Christmas Eve!

We are creating the service for our on-line viewers and making it available all day on Christmas Eve on our website, Facebook Live, YouTube, and other social media platforms.  This will give the approximately 5000+ people who normally come into the building for Christmas Eve the opportunity to watch the service with their families and friends together in the safety of their homes at the most convenient time for them!

Here is what we are asking you to do:

1)   Instead of inviting people to the church this year, find a way to help others watch it online.

2)  Share it. Share it on Facebook. Send an e-mail with the link to your children and  grandchildren. Host a virtual watch party with friends.  We want to flood the Internet with the message of Jesus, knowing that the audience for this literally becomes the whole world! We believe that lives can and will be changed!

Will you help us?

In addition to our safe online experience, we are offering two “in-person” services. We will still be utilizing a seating reservation system like with our Sunday mornings, and the overflow will be set up for The Gathering Place.  These two services will be held at 2pm and 5pm.

More information about reservations for those services will be coming soon.  Please pray for how God will use this Christmas Eve outreach and celebration as never before!

What is one thing you are thankful for this year?  If you would like to share your answer to that question during the Thanksgiving service, please fill out this online form.  Because of COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, we are unable to share microphones to allow people to verbally share thanks, but your submission may be read during the service. Thank you for your participation!  (Deadline for submissions is this Sunday, November 22.)

We want you to be able to watch with your family all eight episodes of "The Chosen" including the Christmas Special episode! Therefore, we have ordered more copies of the DVD which will be available for $10 each at the church office during the week and at the Information Center in the lobby on Sundays.

If you would prefer to watch the episodes on your mobile device, you can also download the entire series and bonus features for free on your phone or tablet directly from The Chosen Series website.
