Small Group Bible Study
Wednesday evenings (6:00 - 7:30 PM)
Meets year round
Facilitator: Wayne Lazarock
This group is currently not meeting.
If you are looking for a verse by verse by verse study of the Bible this small group is for you! The group is currently studying Matthew using John MacArthur’s study guide on this gospel. In this study of Matthew, you’ll be digging deep
into God’s Word as you explore Jesus’ miraculous birth, His response to the test of His kingliness, His inauguration, His miracles, His teachings, and His public ministry. The focus of this study and discussion group is not simply on growing in knowledge, but in seeking to live out God’s Word in your daily walk, and sharing what those life experiences look like with others in the group. This group meets year-round and is continuously open to new people joining in.
MacArthur Bible Studies provide intriguing examinations of the whole of Scripture. Each guide incorporates extensive commentary, detailed observations on overriding themes, and probing questions to help you study the Bible.

An on-going invisible war rages around us - unseen, unheard, yet felt through every aspect and stage of our lives.
The determined devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to us - our hearts, minds, marriages, children/grandchildren, our relationships, our dreams, our destiny.
But the enemy’s battle plan depends on catching us unaware and unarmed - and especially catching us when we are under the false impressions that our days of spiritual influence are now behind us. If you are retired and your thinking
has led you to believe it’s ok to let your guard down, you may now be realizing the vulnerable position this leaves you
in. Or you may be still standing, dressed for spiritual battle, but longing for the encouragement that comes from being
in community with other believers. Either case this study is for you!
This enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman - of any age - dressed for the occasion! Using Ephesians 6, we will study more than merely a biblical wardrobe of the believer's inventory, we will put on, take up, and formulate an action plan for victory in Christ’s name!
